I’ve taken some time and decided on some plugins to pull from the PvP and PvE servers. Some will be missed. Others probably won’t even be noticed.
ItemSinRandomizer: This plugin would give you a random skin if you crafted an item with the default skin. All servers run SkinBox (/skin) So this plugin, while neat. Isn’t really useful or needed.
Fishing: I’m pretty sure that nobody used this plugin. You could fish using either a spear or an arrow weapon. It was just taking up RAM/CPU. Though I will use it on my RP server when I get it up and running if Rust doesn’t implement the fishing pole by then.
KDR GUI: Allowed you to check your stats on the server. But only for that wipe. I plan to get a better plugin for this that will track over a longer period of time. But it’s not cheap and comes in 3 parts. So it will be a while till I get them.
AdvanceGather: Get berries from hemp and apples from trees. Almost all players that I observed left the apples on the ground. And the berries were way to common no matter what I set them at. And the server is 3x as well as the loot tables having a multiplier. So food isn’t scarce by any stretch.
OilCrate: Place a Pump Jack. Quarries produce crude. And you get 3x fat from animals. This one is a bit of a waste of server space.
InGameClockGUI: I put the clock back into the InfoPanel. So really not needed.
UpgradeWorkbenches: This is one people used. But you have the /remove tool. So you can just /remove the workbench and place the new one. Same result. Just not as fast. If the server had less resources and players had to build tiny bases I would leave it in there. But if you play for an hour or so you can have a 2 floor stone base. Even less time if you use the start kit.
Rgive: When you randomly get something from the server. And it usually sucks. This runs on a timer based plugin which has an impact on server performance. Not very much. But if I can improve the server I’m all for it. And you all get enough loot.
As far as the bot changes go.
I’ve reworked the kits. They still drop their weapon. And you can still take their clothes. But I’ve stripped back a lot of the loot. It was too op. So now they have 1-3 of the high tier items that they had in the original kit, as well as default Rust loot. That means they will spawn with the same loot you find on Scientists and Murderers that are just running around on the map in addition to what I have given them. So you can “farm” them for items once you learn what outfit has what. But there will always be something random on them. As far as me editing that loot table. It isn’t available yet. But trust me. Once it is, I’ll rework it.
