The entity count crossed 1.6 million.
Players were constantly getting kicked.
And plugins were failing.
This is partially my fault since I forgot to run the mid month wipe.
I'm also looking into the auto purge plugin since this should be helping keep the entity count in check.
But unfortunately the only fix was me wiping the map.
